The game release was an ingenuous marketing strategy, just two weeks before the movie opening.

Lucasart's "Star Wars: Episode III -- Revenge of the Sith" game went straight to No.1 in the UK Chart, while Lego Star Wars went down to No 2. Two weeks before the film premiere, it was an ingenious marketing strategy.

Both games got 57 percent of the sales from all of the U.K top charts in this weekend, confirmed the research firm Chart-Track.

The game's theme follows the characters in the ancient "Star Wars" universe, where the gifted but troubled Anakin Skywalker becomes the evil Darth Vader, and the Galactic Republic is replaced by the oppressive Empire.

It is a third-person sci-fi action game, with excellent graphic, where you can choose to play as Anakin or Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi. The light saber duel between the two characters, give the game enough drama to hold player's interest.

The Star Wars: Episode III "Revenge of the Sith" movie opens nationwide on May 19th.
Variety rates the film as teeming "with action, drama and spectacle" and calles "Revenge of the Sith" "the best in the overall series since The Empire Strikes Back."
The film is deemed "enthralling at times."
