MALIBU (LALATE) – Tom Vitale and Valerie Bertinelli confirm news of their wedding this weekend. Tom Vitale (photo above) and Valerie Bertinelli’s wedding was Saturday night at the couple’s Malibu mansion. Vitale, 49, and Bertinelli, 50, married in front of a 100 people including her ex husband Eddie Van Halen and their couple’s son Wolfie, 19.

Valerie Bertinelli and Eddie Van Halen married in 1981, split in 2000. In 2004 she met Vitale. Finally in 2007 her divorce from Van Halen was finalized. In 2006, Van Halen started dating Janie Liszewski. In 2009, Van Halen and Liszewski, then 39, married with Bertinelli in attendance. His brother, Alex Van Halen, officiated the ceremony.

In May 2010, Vitale confirmed news of his proposal to Valerie Bertinelli in Florence, Italy. Bertinelli said the proposal was a total surprised, yet very sweet.

Bertinelli had previously admitted after her split from Eddie Van Halen that she thought she would remain single for the rest of her life. Bertinelli admits that losing weight, finding love, and having a hit series has put her back in the prime of her life.
